If you've been predicting F1 on YourFriendsLeague, you know the drill: pick your P1, P2, P3, done. It worked, but it left a lot of the race weekend on the table. Pole position, fastest lap, whether the safety car comes out — none of it counted.
Not anymore.
Predict the whole Top 10
Instead of three dropdowns, you now build out your entire predicted Top 10 — tap drivers in, reorder them, swap them out. Scoring is distance-based, so a near-miss still pays:

Predicted a driver who finishes 11th or retires? That slot just scores zero — no penalty, no drama.
Your Top 10 pick does double duty
Here's the part we're proud of: you don't fill out ten separate questions. Your Top 10 order automatically covers two of the biggest bonus questions:
- Race winner (+3) — whoever you have in P1
- Full podium (+5 exact order, +3 for the right three drivers in any order)
One prediction, multiple scoring angles. No extra clicks.
New bonus questions
On top of that, you can now call:
- Pole position (+3)
- Fastest lap (+3)
- First retirement (+2)
- Safety car — yes or no (+2)
And if you want to go deeper, there's an optional extras panel for most positions gained, biggest position loss, winning margin, and retirement count — each worth a couple more points for the sharper predictors in your league.
League organizers are in control
Not every league wants all ten questions live. Organizers can now switch individual bonus questions on or off for their league from the Manage page — so a casual league can keep it simple (just the Top 10 and the core bonuses), while a hardcore league can turn everything on.
Season finale doubles everything
We also added a multiplier system: mark a race as your league's season finale and every point scored that weekend counts double. Perfect for making the last race actually decide the championship.
Authentic F1 styling
Small touch, but one we liked: driver picks now carry real constructor livery colors — Red Bull navy, Ferrari red, McLaren orange, and so on — so your grid actually looks like a grid.
How to use it
- Open any Formula 1 or MotoGP league's Predictions page
- Click Predict this weekend on any race
- Tap drivers into your Top 10, reorder as needed
- Fill in pole, fastest lap, first retirement, and safety car if you're feeling confident
- Save — you can edit right up until lights out
League organizers: head to Manage → Driver Roster to choose which bonus questions count for your league.
